Deborah Sathe started her career at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre as Director of Aurat. After directing at many theatres across the UK she became Producer at the Theatre Royal Stratford East.
She joined the BBC to create and produce the Asian Network soap Silver Street, moving across to Continuing Drama Series to become Diversity Producer for John Yorke where she has focused on finding, developing and nurturing new talent.
She is producer of the EastEnders online spin off E20.
