Tim Haines
Creative Director
Impossible Pictures
Tim Haines started his career as a journalist before joining BBC Science in 1988. He created and produced the ground-breaking, multi-award winning series Walking With Dinosaurs and a major TV Adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Lost World.
Since Impossible Pictures was founded in 2001, Tim has been creator and producer of its major projects, including Discovery Project Earth, Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets, and Perfect Disasters. He has also produced such dramas as The Tale of Tamworth Two and a modern re-make of Frankenstein. Tim is also the co-creator and executive producer, with Adrian Hodges, of the hit series Primeval, which is now in pre-production for its fourth series for ITV. His considerable experience of producing high quality programmes and bringing big budget effects to the small screen drives the company’s ambition to produce to take the audience to places they’ve never been before.
